Q: How to join and what are the benefits of becoming an SDIWC Member?

A:   You simply click the Membership link. By joining SDIWC, you can attend all of the conferences organized by SDIWC at no charge, provided that you do not have a paper to publish. In addition, you will be able to get many discounts on all other activities. The membership fees help to run SDIWC. Membership for the year 2024 is free. Join SDIWC now

Q: How to become a volunteer and what are the benefits?

A:   Please email your CV to sdiwc@sdiwc.net and your ideas of the help that you would like to get involved in. As SDIWC volunteer, you can take pride in participating in activities that interest you, while expanding your knowledge of the SDIWC, gaining valuable management and leadership skills, and connecting with others in your profession.

Q: I am interested in Hosting SDIWC Competition, who should I contact?

A:  SDIWC encourages team work and knowledge sharing. SDIWC welcomes competitions by any university, school, or relevant organization. The competition could be indoors or outdoors. We can list your competition on our website, which has a very high number of visitors. For more details, please send an e-mail to sdiwc@sdiwc.net.

Q: What is SDIWC Friendship?

A:   It is a program that establishes collaboration between SDIWC and Ph.D holders. In this program, a friend of SDIWC will work closely with SDIWC in particular with the country he/she is working in. For more details please visit: Be a Friend

Q: I am interested in sponsorship opportunities or some scientific activities, what is the possibility? Whom should I contact?

A:   SDIWC might sponsor some scientific activities partially and under certain rules. The sponsorship has 3 levels depending on many factors such as the submitted proposal, nature of scientific activity, and other factors. The highest level of sponsorship gives SDIWC a lot of control on the activity and in decision making. The lowest level provides less involvement of SDIWC. Please send an email with the details of your suggested activity. In year 2024, the priority is for scientific competitions, in particular Robotics competitions. Q: What is SDIWC Digital library? What are the publications of the SDIWC Digital Library?

A:   It's an on-line digital library which delivers a free full text access to SDIWC published papers and to other organizations. If you want to include the papers of your conference or journal in SDIWC Digital Library please contact us at sdiwc@sdiwc.net. The inclusion is free.

Q: What is the function of SDIWC Calendar of Conferences? How can I add my event there?

A:   SDIWC database contains the largest listings of upcoming conferences. Listing your conference on the SDIWC calendar of events is free and takes a few minutes from you. However, it will increase the number of visitors to your conference dramatically. Q: I am interested in hosting a conference with SDIWC, who should I contact?

A:   If you are interested in hosting SDIWC conferences or if you want to organize your own conference, then SDIWC is the right place for this. Many reasons behind this, among them: High number of website visitors. Our website is ranked top 4% in terms of the number of visitors, worldwide, the strong network that SDIWC has and the size of its database (more than 100,000 Ph. And IT expert), and the experience that SDIWC staff has. SDIWC tries to do almost everything from A..Z. Q: What is the language of the conferences?

A:   English.

Q: How can I submit my paper for conference and journal publication?

A:   Prospective authors should submit their full Papers, for Conference & Journal publication through the online system (the open conference for the conference or journal) by selecting paper submission link. The contact author will get a submission confirmation. In case you have not received the submission confirmation, please contact the conference or the journal via email.

Q: Where can I find the instructions for the paper template?

A:   Templates and all instructions can be found under the Author Guidelines page in each conference website or journal website.

Q: What are the criteria of selection of conference papers for journal publication/special issues?

A:   BEST registered papers will be published in one of the special issues listed in the conference website provided that the author do major improvements and extension within the time frame that will be set by the conference and his/her paper is approved by the chief editor.

Q: Where will the conference proceedings be indexed for SDIWC conferences?

A:   All registered papers will be published in the conference proceedings and in SDIWC Digital library. The published proceedings will be submitted for indexing in ResearchBib. In addition, they will be reviewed for POSSIBLE inclusion within the INSPEC, EI, DBLP, Microsoft Academic Research, ResearchGate, and Google Scholar Databases.

Q: Where will the conference proceedings be indexed for IEEE conferences?

A:  All the registered papers will be submitted to IEEE for inclusion to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

Q: If I cannot attend the conference, and if I cannot nominate anyone to substitute for me in presenting the paper, will my paper be published?

A:   For SDIWC conferences, yes as long as you are registered. For IEEE Conferences, one of the authors must present the paper.

Q: Can I bring my family to any of the events?

A:   Yes, you can attend the event with any one provided that you have to inform SDIWC first.

Q: What is the length of Oral Paper Presentation?

A:   Each technical presentation is only 20 minutes including questions and discussions.

Q: Can I get an Official Letter of Invitation for attending a conference?

A:   We provide such letter only after the registration is paid, however SDIWC has nothing to do with the visa issues. Authors and guests are advised to contact their travelling agents and embassies for this purpose.

Q: What opportunity exists for attending a conference?

A:   The Conference affords many opportunities for delegates to mix and mingle. With the Conference program, delegates can discuss the days events and make plans for the rest of the Conference. There are also conference dinner and tours hosted by the Conference organizers. This, coupled with refreshment breaks and lunches, ensures our delegates have ample opportunity to make and maintain connections for future collaborations.

Q: Can I organize a special session in conjunction with a specific conference?

A:   Researchers are welcome to organize special session. The session should be within a very specific topic. Please send your session title, your cv for this purpose to the conferences' email address.

Q: Can I organize a workshop in conjunction with the a specific conference?

A:   Researchers are welcome to organize workshops, for more details please see workshop link and send your CV and your proposals to the exact email of the conference.

Q: Can you help me book a hotel room?

A:   No, the conferences will not provide any hotel reservation service but you may check the ACCOMMODATION link for the list of recommended hotels on the same location.

Q: How can I register to attend a conference?

A:   All payments are done online through our online payment gateway. Please use a credit card. Debit cards cannot be accepted. Accepted orders are via Visa, MasterCard, American express, PayPal, and Discovery. If you do not have a credit card then you can use the credit card of any friend in any place of the world.

For non credit card holders, we can give you the banking account of the SDIWC representative in Asia.

Q: Can I register on-site?

A:   For authors, the answer is NO. For guests, the answer is YES.

Q: What do the registration fees cover?

A:   The registration fees cover 2-3 lunches/dinner and one local tour. However, it does not include lodging/accommodations or transportation.

Q: My friend completes the online registration for me, can I get a receipt or an invoice under my name? Can I get an itemized receipt for my accounting department?

A:   Yes, we can get you a stamped receipt or invoice in any formula that is accepted to your university or organization. Please send your request to the specified conference.

Q: I registered online, but I did not receive an email confirmation. How can I get a copy of my registration confirmation?

A:   Please send your request email to the specified conference and we will send you the registration confirmation.

Q: I am going to present more than one paper at the event, do I need to do more than one registration?

A:   Yes, please see the registration page for the details about the fee of the second paper.

Q: I am registered for the event but for some reason I cannot attend, can someone else take my place?

A:   Yes and please inform SDIWC ahead of time. For IEEE Conferences, the author/substitute must be present.

Q: How much does it cost for publishing a paper in the journals?

A:   For the journals, it is totally FREE.
