Abstract:

A video game population continues to increase every year, and the trend of expansion is expected in the future. Currently, the video game is an important position in a software industry. The most intolerable thing in the game play of a user is a bug. In recent years, game developers have frequently reported a bug due to the game failure. Players complain these failures; however, bug studies are seldom announced, because video game failure does not affect user's life or property. Consequently, developers do not seriously take quality issues at the video game. From above issue, we investigated, collected, and analyzed the video game failures on the development company websites, and finally we discussed the key issue of improving the quality. This paper is expected to contribute to improve the test strategy of developers and quality of the game.
