The utilization of mobile devices and technologies are now having great impact as one of the alternatives in creating stimulating learning environments regardless of time and. Past studies have shown conventional methods of teaching without technology was one of the contributing factors in student dropout rates due to the static completion of task and also the boredom of existing learning methods. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to design a learning activity that uses mobile devices and technology and thus to determine the effectiveness of learning content generation throughout learning activities. This study adopted an action research approach that consists of planning, implementation, and observation and reflection phases and employed a questionnaire for data collection and further analysis. A web blog was developed as a primary tool and medium for reference and for video clip downloading by students for the purpose of sharing, exchanging and presenting in class. We found the sharing of ideas and views on the weblog assignments will enhance creativity and to encourage the students positively to strive for the best video clip production in class. This indicates that the utilization of mobile devices and technology in educational activities are capable in producing and generating the learning content effectively. In the future this study will help us to integrate the application of mobile devices and technology into other courses.
