Abstract:


Studying Programming Languages is complicated and time consuming, especially for under-graduate students. For these beginners, usually the programming techniques are troublesome and boring. To help creating more concentration and interest, games for learning are proposed. Several existing studies have tried to create competitive contest and embed educational points that students can archive after playing. However, very few of the studies pay attention on programming for university students, especially in developing countries including Vietnam. In this paper, we propose a Mistake Chasing Game model that encourage student to play and develop the game, aiming to create maximum attention and experience for the students. The game is developed on cross-platform mobile devices including smart phones, phablets, and tablets which are widely used among students. With the current experiment on hundreds students, we archive interesting result and promising improvement.
