Abstract:

Faults in the GNSS measurements are the main reason for uncertainty positioning. In fact, certainty can thus be maximized by selecting only those observations least contaminated by faults to form the navigation solution (positioning) and excluding the rest from positioning algorithm. In order to solve the problem of faults in the GNSS measurements (pseudo-range), a new Fault Detection and Exclusion (FDE) method is proposed in this paper. The proposed method involves two functions: the first one aims to detect the presence of faults in the measurements test set. The second function is implemented to exclude the faulty measurements from data fusion process. In order to demonstrate its efficiency and its validity, the proposed method is tested using real data acquired with low cost GNSS receiver.
