New forms and designs monopole antennas are investigated for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications. Circular, triangular, rectangular and new forms antennas are compacts and polarized with a 50? feed offer a low cost and low profile for printed circuit. The proposed antennas have a symmetric and uniplanar geometry and a single microstrip transition. The size is about (35mm x 35mm). The proposed antennas present an ultra-wide bandwidth from 10GHz to 40GHz for (S11<-10dB). Small rectangular holes printed to the proposed antennas are examined. Simulated reflection coefficient curves are provided along with beam pattern and gain. Simulations have been carried out by tow software’s the IE3D from Zeeland and ADS2008 from Agilent.
