The University of Salford is situated just a mile and a half (three kilometers) from Manchester city center – so close you can walk. It is also just 1.6 miles from MediaCityUK. There are excellent transport links, with Salford Crescent railway station on campus and regular bus services. Trains from Manchester International Airport run hourly and take 30 minutes to campus. The airport can also be reached by car within 20 minutes.

MediaCityUK is a part of Salford town and University of Salford has one campus there (another campus in the Salford City Center).

Campus Map/Guide

Car parking

All University car parks are open and staffed during weekdays. The Frederick Road and Adelphi car parks are also open in the evenings. Before leaving the Irwell Place and Frederick Road sites, please ensure you obtain a car parking token.

The School or section you are visiting will assist you in this. If you are in doubt as to which car park you should use, call in at the main barrier nearest the Maxwell Reception.

DISABLED PARKING

Designated disabled parking spaces are available in Maxwell Building, Faraday House, Irwell Place car park, Humphrey Booth House, Adelphi House, Adelphi Building, Cockroft Building, Horlock Court and Frederick Road site.
