Subject and Purpose of the Workshop

The 1st International Workshop on Security for E-Technologies (SECTECH 2012) covers comprehensively the common issues about security in the area of E-technologies such as e-commerce, e-business, e-procurement and e-logistics. In particular, this workshop concentrates on security problems like e-transactions security, privacy of application software, security policies, trust, integrity, availability, digital forensics, internet security and customer privacy, etc.

The objective of this workshop is to present state of the art research results in the rapidly growing area of e-technology security, with emphasizes on security, privacy, and trust issues. This workshop will provide the participants with opportunities to discuss and explore areas related to the theory, development, applications, experiences, and evaluation of e-technology security with fellow students, researchers, and practitioners.
